Mao Feng refers to a tea leaf style, slender, twisted, and minimally broken, preserving both leaf integrity and flavour complexity. When combined with Dianhong, Yunnan’s famous black tea tradition, and processed using the sun-baking (晒红 / Shai Hong) method, the result is a rare, traditional black tea that’s rich in both taste and heritage.
The sun-drying process allows the tea to oxidise slowly and naturally, enhancing sweetness, aroma, and longevity in storage. This method is rarely used for black teas today, making this one a true connoisseur’s find.
