These Tea Oranges are very popular, and once you have tried it, you will understand why. The puer tea is aged 8 years and comes from Yunnan Province of China. The ageing adds a great deal of depth to the tea.
As the tea ages inside the peel, it absorbs the bright oils and aromatic zest, creating a smooth, rounded brew with earthy depth and citrus lift. This tea is deeply comforting, ideal after meals or as a warming evening ritual.
A stunning harmony of earth and citrus, Puer Tea Oranges are made by hollowing out young green tangerines (xiao qing gan), filling them with aged ripe (shu) Puer tea, and sun-drying them whole.
