Song Zhong Phoenix Dancong is a rare and refined Phoenix Mountain oolong (Fenghuang Dancong) grown in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, China. This classic single-bush cultivar embodies the rich terroir and centuries-old tea-making traditions of the Phoenix Mountains, delivering a multi-layered floral-fruity character with a smooth, elegant aftertaste. 

Harvested only when weather conditions are ideal, the fresh leaves are expertly crafted using traditional methods of withering, controlled oxidation, rolling, and slow charcoal roasting. This careful, multi-stage process unfolds over many hours, allowing the tea to develop exceptional depth, balance, and aromatic complexity.

This is a beautiful Oolong tea that we are very lucky to be able to stock. It is rare to find teas like this outside of Asia. It take the skill of a highly experienced tea master to produce teas as fine as this Oolong.

• Water temperature: 95–100 °C.
